The Central Fine Arts Academy will strive to:

Central Fine Arts Academy Policies 2022

Students are expected to attend all 12 lessons within the session. Parents will need to contact the instructor at least 24 hours before the lesson if they will not be able to attend their session. The tuition fee is not refundable or pro-rated for lessons missed. It is important that students attend all sessions during the 12 weeks to maximize instruction. An additional week has been added to accommodate make-up lessons.

 

Child Protection Policy 

A second adult will be in the hallways monitoring classes for your child’s safety and protection. 

 

Payments 

Payments are made in two installments ½ upfront, ½ midway through the season. Payments can be made online Here 

 

Scheduling Classes 

Private sessions will be scheduled with the instructors independently. Parents will communicate with instructors to find times that work for you and your student. 

 

Attendance & Cancelation Policy

If for some reason an instructor has to cancel class, they will reach out to you to reschedule with you via zoom (if possible for your genre). If you are unable to attend a regularly scheduled lesson, please notify us as soon as possible. A make-up class can be scheduled for the week following the regular session, if requested by the adult or parent, at the parent’s expense. Tuition will stay the same to ensure that the instructors still get paid for their time. CFAA Instructors are only required to hold make-up lessons this week. They have the right to refuse a make-up lesson for any student if requested for another time.

 

Showcase

Students are highly encouraged to attend the showcase at the end of the session that they are signed up for. . More information regarding this event will be sent out at a later date.  

 

Drop Off and Dismissal Policy 

Please be prompt for the start of classes. Students may be dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the class and should be picked up by 15 minutes after the class. Parents are required to come in to the building to drop off and pick up their children.  

Parents are invited and encouraged to use the Central Café while students are participating in classes.
